Just because their US arenas are empty doesn’t mean that one of the messiest bands in girl group history shouldn’t have a thread on Pop Square.

Honestly, one of the few tours I’ve seen outright flop post-pandemic. A testament to mismanagement I guess but hopefully they can turn it around.

Oh the price reduction has really helped break up the blue (compared to what they were) on the first 4 US dates at least.

Aside from Ava Max, and more recently Meghan Trainor, I can’t recall any pop girlies who’ve struggled to sell a tour in the post-Covid world so spectacularly.

As someone who’s bought a ticket to their show in Manchester, and is genuinely excited to see them live, I do however think the underwhelming sales and general indifference is deserved.

The poor management and communication around the previous attempt at touring probably left a bitter taste in the mouths of more casual concert-goers, who if we’re honest, simply want to see Nicole and a handful of other girls on stage performing Don’t Cha and Buttons.

Their strategy for marketing and promoting the tour is also frankly baffling. The radio interviews are cute, but at this stage, boring. For ann act so well known for their brilliant performance skills, it’s baffling we’ve not had a music video or any live performances.

That said, Club Song pales in comparison to React, so in it’s no major loss I suppose.

It also surprised me to learn The Pussycat Dolls never did a headline US tour back in the day? I guess that’s largely due to how short-lived their prime actually was and Nicole’s desire to go solo from the off. It’s easy to forget just how stacked with hits their debut album was.

Just to remind y’all.

Club Song has really grown on me but I really wish we had some kind of visuals alongside it. I don’t need a pussy popping choreo fest but come on gals…give us something

I just seen Ashley’s story on her way to start PCD rehearsals. Maybe we’ll see some behind the scenes stuff.

The tour dates won’t show up anymore for me. Hopefully just a glitch but maybe a few cancellations of US dates?

None of the dates are accessible so probably a glitch but doesn’t seem like a good omen.

…was hoping to get a cheap $30 ticket to this

All dates are still on Ticketmaster just now.

Poland has the red “limited availability” sign now with only 1 seat left.

She can’t finish one coherent sentence but she did mention that they’re holding auditions for 8 back up dancers (four girls and four guys). You don’t have to watch the video.

Also the tour dates are back up on their website. So it seems the US dates are really going ahead.

Sounds like they are depending on last-minute ticket sales. And maybe hope that clips of the first few shows convince enough people to go? I definitely expect a ton of Groupon deals…

The PCD tours have never been that elaborate staging-wise so am curious what they actually have planned in terms of the set.

If this is the cash grab we seem to think, they’d want to maximise profit - ie. bare minimal staging.

I hope I’m wrong.

You’re in luck!

Unless you want to go to the MSG show which of course doesn’t seem to be included, sigh

Somehow their Toronto date wasn’t included :frowning: oh well, maybe I’ll find a last minute ticket later on since there are still plenty available.

Ah it’s for 4,000 shows, I thought it was just for selected PCD dates.
