The Femcels are Rowan Please and Gabriella. They are an electronic indie pop duo from London. Their debut album, I Have to Get Hotter, was released back in January and is honestly still on rotation for me nearly six months later. It’s a little bit twee, a little indietronica. Super dumb fun. They sort of fall within the same space as The Teenagers, Bassvictim (the album was produced by Ike), and Ear.
Rowan released a collab album with Worldpeace DMT that’s also a great companion to this last year.
