The legendary Russian pop group was originally formed in 2006 and rose to international fame with their 2007 Eurovision single Song #1. Over the years, they have amassed almost as many hits as the number of line-up changes they went through (a lot). This thread is supposed to be a home for discussions about SEREBRO (past and present), but also the solo projects of former members; Temnikova in particular has released a decade’s worth of amazing music following her departure from the band and has since become a bit of an electronic/house diva.

I wasn’t interested in the newest version of Serebro, but then Надоело autoplayed on Youtube so I’ve been keeping an eye on them to see what else they release. It’s kind of creepy how much the girls look like the original lineup!

I was thinking to myself the other day “I wonder if someone’s made a Serebro thread on here…?”, so, I’m glad to have stumbled across this! They’ve got some excellent material in their catalogue: Malo Tebya, Ne Vremya, Dyshi & Opium are a few of my favourite songs. Polina (FAVLAV) & Elena Temnikova’s solo music is also quite good (I had no idea about Seryabkina’s “views”… eww!).

I believe this was from the same era. Best video and song for me.

I could have sworn there was an English sung version too, but that is perhaps lost in time or something I incorrectly remember.

Another banger - although, I prefer the remixed version on the Serebration! album.

I’m glad to see this song is still intact on Youtube. Due to a new Russian censoring law, they’re no longer allowed to mention words like опиум/opium (similarly, t.A.T.u. are no longer allowed to perform Я Сошла С Ума in its original form, they can only do the English version dd), so on streaming the song has become just Иум, with the first half of the word being omitted now and it just sounds awful.
