Been thinking about them a lot the last few days, for probably obvious reasons.

Looking forward to continuing the annual ritual of them “discovering” a few more copies of something here and there in the back room (after it was dropped off by the delivery man straight from the pressing plant) here!!

They have been unusually silent as of late.

Enjoying retirement I expect. They have Peter Popjustice coming for tea later.

I’m sure we’ll get an updated greatest hits / singles compilation closer to tour

What’s everyone’s take on the “Saint Etienne Presents” series? I really like Songs From The Carnegie Deli.

Oh, great! I completely missed that post. I’d love them to freshly remaster all singles, and maybe throw in a new song or two.

Did anyone get the New Jill Swing 1988-94 compilation Bob put together? Full of bangers and was dead cheap on Rough Trade for a limited edition double LP

It can only be a matter of time before ‘Spring’ creeps up the top 40. Through osmosis or brute force.

Yeah, it’s a good compilation.

Probably a longshot but if anyone happen to have or know a ticket going for resale for the Glasgow show in the 20th of September and could let me know that would be really appreciated. I’m having a long weekend in Glasgow then and their show would be such a great high for that to end on. Thanks in advance!

Saint Etienne are teasing an Australian and New Zealand Tour.
Should be officially announced soon.
This is the first time they’ve toured Australia since 1998… and I went to the Sydney gig on that tour.

The majority of their compilations are top-tier but Songs from the Lyons Cornerhouse is the one I keep coming back to.
