Role Model - Chuck Timely & The Hourglass (August 8th)

Feels like this is probably coming sooner than later. TikTok snippet, postcards mailed to fans, and an Esquire feature talking about new music all dropped in the last week.

He seems to be hinting at the single release for next week and an August 7th release for the album, if we’re taking the dates on this receipt seriously.

The deluxe of Kansas Anymore is still on heavy repeat in this house so I’m eager to see where he takes things next.

Oh his 1989 campaign serve. First single “High Hopes 3000” out June 3rd.

Obsessed with the High Hopes clip on TikTok.

I don’t like the cover nor the title that suggests it’s an alter ego album but I’ll be tuning it regardless. He should be much bigger than he is, he’s a male artist who A) actually makes good music and B) Is putting in the work.

Love “High Hopes 3000.” It’s basically a cuntryfied “Thank You For Being A Friend.”

It’s a bit repetitive for me but I end up coming around to it by the end. The video re-uses the Sally formula but why fix what ain’t broke. I hope this era turns out to be a big breakout moment for him.

This is another not for me moment but he sure is pretty to look at. Even if his tattoos look like he picked them out of a sticker book.

It also gives me Achy Breaky Heart vibes.

I usually complain about really short songs but this felt like it went on forever to me. I looked to see if it was nearly finished and there was still a minute left!
