Although it was tricky for me to do the opening post for the Monthly Chart on the phone, I will say Google has been pretty good with pointers as are the threads pinned with tips around the place. Help is around!!

Let me ask before I make a thread. Is this also the place where we post random songcontest stuff or should we have separate one for that? Or is there another thread in that subforum which can be used for that?

There is a Song Contest subforum to the Rates/Song Contests section of the forum.

I understand that. I expressed myself wrong perhaps. In the subforum ‘Songcontests’ there is no separate thread for ‘random thoughts about songcontests’.
Is that something I could make or is there another already existing thread in that subforum we could use for that?
No, we can discuss random song contest thoughts here too, just like in the previous thread (it’s in the ‘etc.’ bit alongside rates and charts).

I feel like it’d be better to have a separate thread like that for song contests though, posting anything song contest-related in a different sub-forum than where the song contests actually are doesn’t really make sense.
