Was listening to this again. Only single from an album to coincide with the Australian/ Scottish kids TV series Minty.

I knew it was written by Kelly Llorenna (one of the few tracks she ever wrote) but the more I listen to it, the more I wonder if this was some cast off from her initial solo sessions? The looped vocal at the start is clearly Kelly and I think the vocals in the chrous are.

As for the verses, apparently they are by the woman who played Minty but to be honest it doesn’t sound like the person singing the other songs from the album (to be fair i listened to about 5 seconds of each track). I Wanna Be Free is also very different to the rest of the album and sticks out like a sore thumb!

The track was co-written by Mike Koglin who wrote Kelly’s Brighter Day so maybe it was a Kelly cast off complete with her vocals still in the mix?

I love this track. I actually bought some dodgy compilation it’s on last year (The Best Kid’s Party In The World Ever) to get hold of this track specifically as it isn’t on streaming sites.

It was upon looking at the credits in the booklet of that CD that I realised it was written by Kelly, and then it all clicked. It completely sounds like a Kelly song indeed, and her vocals are clearly all over it still.
