Mother.
My phone keeps reminding me of Mayhem Ball and oh my god, I miss it so much..
Ever since she played Glitter and Grease as the finale song at the Mayhem show I keep thinking about we need a complete edition of The Fame which includes Glitter and Grease, Vanity, Fooled Me Again and Fashion.
My first laugh out loud giggle on the new forum thank you!
For how many bonus tracks and one offs there are from The Fame, it’s kind of wild that everything isn’t on streaming in an ultimate version. Maybe for the 20th anniversary - there’s plenty of other unreleased tracks to throw in too.
Not like she exactly has a precedent of doing comprehensive anniversary editions, but still, the material’s there.
Honestly tho! Even if it was just Retro, Dance, Freak & Vanity I would take it!
What’s your perfect Born This Way Single Run? ![]()
With the closure of The Old Forum, I’ve been reminiscing on what got me into Pop Music.
And that’s Lady Gaga. I’d do some terrible things to get the deep cuts from The Fame/Monster in high quality. Especially Sexy Ugly.
A new pink vinyl pressing of Joanne is up for pre-sale on Fnac. I’d initially heard it was for the 10th anniversary but it’s got a release date of the 26th June so maybe it’s not anymore.
I was in Vegas last week and I was impressed by how quickly they put Mayhem Ball outfits on display at the pop-up museum at the Park MGM.
Wake up babe, new piece of random Gargoyle lore just dropped!
Actor David Howard Thornton, known for playing Art the Clown in the gore horror franchise Terrifier, has revealed that Gaga opened for him in a New York bar in 2007:
“When I moved to New York, around 2006, 2007, I was doing an ‘off-Broadway musical’ called ‘Soul Searching’ and we performed in different bars around the city. We usually had someone as an opening act to warm up the crowd and, one night, there was a girl named Stefani playing her songs on the piano. Afterward, we went out with her and I thought: ‘My God, she’s incredible, so talented.’ I only realized it years later. I was talking to a friend who was in the show with me and said: ‘Dude… that was Lady Gaga!’ So, in a kind of weird way, Lady Gaga opened a show for Art the Clown in the Village, in New York, around 2007.”
Just bought a used iPod off eBay and amongst all the rock music was The Fame Monster and bizarrely Retro, Dance Freak?! I thought it had been officially released for a minute
It was a Japanese bonus
Ohhhh. Flop fan thats why my Apple music didn’t have it
It was included on a majority of the physical releases of deluxe edition of The Fame Monster (aside from the US, Canada, the UK and maybe one or two others) so they could have ripped it straight from the disc.
I feel about 607 years old but I miss ripping directly from CD’s
Wait which ones? I’m going to Vegas for work this week and need to stop by. They had some of the Brazil and Abracadabra costumes their last summer when I went for opening night.
