She performed with Demi Lovato at her tour stop at MSG — those whistle notes were so good!
Her memoir was amazing and really put into perspective why her career panned out the way it did. I’m glad she seems to get her flowers online and is still able to put out music.
Also the thread title reminding me that until I listened to her audiobook and heard her say her own name, I always mis-read it as “La-vin-skee.” Clearly I imagined an “n” there for like 20 years. Had no idea the name was French.

I feel like she’s quite busy with that play in which she’s performing, but I would love a full album early next year. NGL was fine but I need a full body work to truly flourish her talent.

My Queen! She sounded amazing on stage with Demi. Hitting some notes effortlessly that she hasn’t even attempted to hit in recent years. Those broadway lessons are really doing wonders for her vocally.

I love this song so much. It still sounds fresh; if FLO would’ve released this on their sophomore album it would’ve been a standout for me.
Terrible news - her Chess run on Broadway has been cancelled. The show is ending its run with Lea’s last show next month. Not sure if this means we’ll get a new album any sooner but I feel awful for her.
