I ADORED Eden’s Crush and still rinse their one and only album to this day! So many bangers! Ana Maria was my fave but it’s interesting to see how far Nicole has come. She definitely was a standout!

I love that nearly all of them released solo music, bar Ivette. They were such a big part of my upbringing.
They deserved so much more! I used to have a poster of them on my bedroom wall from a magazine. Either J-14 or M.
I just recently discovered the Rockwilder and Missy remix of “Get Over Yourself” included on the Japanese album! Why was that not on the single, or give some sort of wider release??

One thing that I noticed:
This is the album version of “Love This Way”. It has lead vocals from everyone except Maile.
This is the version from the CD single, noted as the “album version” - which has Maile split the second verse with Ivette (and alternate vocal takes overall). It also has alternate backing vocals. I love both, but this one is so much fuller.

I had no idea about this remix I have to hear it! I just listened to their album a few days ago, still so good. I was so obsessed with them and could not wait to finally hear Get Over Yourself after the agony of hearing the intro to the show each week.

No way! I have never heard that “Get Over Yourself” remix or the alternate version of “Love This Way”! I love when, decades later, you discover new things about an album/group you thought you knew everything about! It’s also so nice to know that other people remember them! I distinctly remember running to the bathroom to pee during the episode of Pop Stars when they announced who made the group and my sister screamed from the living room that the commercial break was ending so I sprinted down the hall and got my toe stuck in my Wal Mart pajama pants (featuring the characters from The Simpsons no less) and face planted so hard. I didn’t miss a second of the episode though!

Oooh I like this version.
Such a blast from the past. I think Nicole’s audition is one of the best from any of the popstars series.
I recall seeing how polished and expensive they looked/sounded and really thought they would be around for ages. Love This Way is one of my fav girl band ballads. Though I prefer the album version, not the one on the music video. (They deserved much better video than what we got)
Also remember they had such a pretty website, the colour scheme and flower motifs looked so good on my old windows XP.

Watched the show as it aired! My favorite was Maile just because I loved her name. I was rooting for them but never actually purchased the album (fake fan).

Almost missed it but happy 25th anniversary to the first album that I purchased with my own money.
I still find it a very strong debut or album otherwise, but it really made me think bigger than my hometown. I’m so happy for the impact that it had on me and the pathways it made me realize were things that I could follow.
