I hate to say it because I really enjoy the standard album but these new songs really don’t do much for me…

They’re all a bit samesy aren’t they? I love the main album, but the deluxe tracks don’t calm my fear that he’s regressed artistically after trying something new with Found Heaven. I can only handle so much sad girl stuff.

I really hope he switches things up for the next album. He always delivers of course but he’s capable of doing way more.

I think he showed with Found Heaven what he is capable of. Wishbone was excellent, and same as you I hope he will change it up again in some direction.

I love Conan but this deluxe makes listening to 5 songs feel like 12 as they are just so meh and bland. Hopefully it’ll grow on me as I think Wishbone is probably his strongest album but I’m currently not convinced.

Having listened to the new tracks some more, I now like them a lot, especially Do I Dare and House That Always Rains. I am sure I will end up loving everything, as always.
Seen him earlier tonight and he was absolutely fantastic. The Dublin audience were lapping it all up.
