When will these recorded bops finally leak after all these years?!

When will these recorded bops finally leak after all these years?!

I always wondered why she left Polydor?
Absolutely a banger.
Absolutely should have led to an album full of these types of tracks.
I can imagine that it was an initial four album contract and they just didn’t see a further profit out of her? Yes, she got two #1 singles but the streaming was taking over and her career didn’t take it very well, the album sales was declining and let’s remember that she only toured once.
I would rather wonder, why she signed with this random ass label? I’m sure that she would have opportunity to sign with other quite major label. Probably contracts were not fitting, but also on the other hand I can’t imagine what this indie one offered her.
Honestly would have done better being the lead single
If she could bring the energy and charisma that she had on the 2024 Girls Aloud tour to a solo tour, I would be there with bells on.
Let You and Call My Name remain in regular rotation for me
Imagine an album full of these bangers.
Love Made Me Do It - bit odd, not quite to my taste, but I appreciated the effort.
Let You - BOP.
Would love to see what other quirky treats are languishing on a hard drive somewhere!
Miss You (the third single she scrapped) was very clearly a demo when it leaked, but with beefed up production it could have easily given Let You a run for its money
Well, they apparently exist!?
I think it was taken down (by Raye’s lawyers, not Cheryl’s) but it’s cute even if it does sound a little bit like the McDonald’s advert
da da da da da I miss you
Yeah, Miss You was definitely an underbaked demo, but I think it would slap with beefed up production.
Well hopefully it’ll turn up again one day!
Yeah Yeah has just come on shuffle, still bewildered that she sat on that (and Waiting!) and released The Flood instead.
You could always rely on Chezza to make terrible single choices.
I personally love The Flood. I do wish that era got a third single though!
14 years ago today since this music video was released. Still holds up to this day as one of her best, the choreo remains iconic.
The video reminds me of Work From Home in the sense that it not only elevates the song, but also makes you feel like the pop star you’re watching is a global superstar.
Looking back, it was a missed opportunity not to release Call My Name in America. I know this was pre-streaming, but I think it could’ve done moderately well, especially since a lot of UK acts were getting minor hits there around 2012.
