Beach House is an American dream pop / indie rock duo from Baltimore, formed in 2004 by vocalist/keyboardist Victoria Legrand and guitarist/keyboardist Alex Scally. Their sound is known for being atmospheric, hazy, and emotionally immersive, blending slow tempos, reverb-heavy instrumentation, and hypnotic melodies. They have released 8 albums. Their most recent release was the Become EP in 2023.

Favorite band ever, helped me through so many difficult periods, emotional support music, music for yearning, soundtrack to an ending of relationships, saved my life, etc. etc. etc.
This might sound like a drag but I promise it is not- Beach House are mainstays on my studying playlists. I love that they can keep me calm while I’m trying not to panic about what I need to get done that week.
