Oop. Forgot about this section, but I’m glad I checked. New single sounds great as usual. They’ve been working with Oscar Scheller for what I assume is going to be the album.

They were incredible in London tonight, the show and setlist were a dream come true and they were blown away by the crowd/response, immaculate vibes. I adore these guys and Promise is excellent as per!

Although I love their breezy pop side, I also hope they lean into the darker, more gothic vibe from their earlier singles as well when the album finally comes. Been playing these a lot lately.

I know some of y’all are on Reddit so you better ask some good questions
Not huge amounts about the new album that I could see but may have missed some of the responses. They described it as an evolution of the sound of the EPs and said when deciding what got onto the album they were “song first” and whatever songs were best made it and as such there’s some curve balls and a variety of sound.
The look on my face when Justine name checked The Script as an influence and Graham said he had taken inspiration from Owl City for certain synths and sounds ddd
I realised I never actually posted in here afterwards but I had such an amazing time at their London gig!
